79 79 An International Monsoons Project Office (IMPO) was established at Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, in July 2021 to support monsoon research activities of the World Weather Research Programme (WWRP) and the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP). This is a joint effort by WMO and IITM to help coordinate monsoon research across the world.
